Movies I've Been Watching
Okay, well I've got a couple of newly watched movies and a couple of re-watched movies here.

Synendoche, New York - Very naval-gazing and boring. (My other half has already expressed her extreme irritation with the movie.) Fantastic actors playing undeveloped characters. It gets a little more interesting in the second half, but by that point I just felt like I was just waiting for it all to end. The story focusses on a man whose worried about dying, whose married life is going down the tubes and who randomly seems to have women coming on to him left and right. Did that sound interesting? Well the movie somehow manages to make it even more boring.
1/5 (And that's coming from a big Kaufman fan. I don't know what the hell happened!)
Dead Snow - Boring zombie comedy. No interesting characters and not enough in the way of jokes. A few good moments, but not enough to make it worth watching - especially with the rather unsatisfying ending.
2/5
Also re-watched a couple recently.
Star Trek Silly entertaining fun, but ZOMG LENS FLARE!
4/5
The Fountain Didn't like this the first time I saw it, but on second watch it's actually really really good. I don't think it helps that the real life bits need to be taken quite seriously, but all the fantasy bits really shouldn't be taken seriously at all. I think you need to be in the right mood. Be prepared to watch it more than once. (It's Aronofsky, so you know it's worth it!)
