I'm an ex-student planning to start a career in teaching. I recently finished a Masters in Philosophical Theology. As Derrida once said: "I rightly pass for an atheist". I would consider myself a Secular Humanist and consider my cultural background to be Post-Christian. Rather than dismissing religion as nonsense, I find it important to consider the values which any religion or ideology represent. (It just so happens that I find the concept of God to be an inevitable 'drag' on such a process.)
A major influence for me is Grace Jantzen's "Becoming Divine: Towards A Feminist Philosophy Of Religion".
