Asides from the news that David Cameron is going to irreparably screw up the country, there's also news that Sarah Palin has been caught with a sockpuppet account so that she can praise herself.
Movie News
Sort of... In case anyone hasn't heard yet Detroit are planning on erecting a statue of Robocop.
"It piqued an interest, because it seemed like something that should have already been done. It almost seems like an oversight that it doesn’t exist already. It’s the same motivation that drives people to contribute to articles on sites like Wikipedia, or projects on Sourceforge, this just happens to be a physical object in the real world. "
Or perhaps it's a complete waste of money that could have been spent on better public services during a financial crisis? Just saying....

Ever wondered where the inspiration for the scenes in Kill Bill came from?
We've all heard that it was a mix of various old movie stuff, but I personally didn't know where half this stuff originated. Not sure I'm convinced by all the suggested links, but this is cool all the same:
